The countdown is on! In just a few days, I'll be boarding flight LY91 from Tel Aviv to Tokyo for an incredible adventure through Japan.

I've been planning this trip for months, and I'm so excited to finally share it with all of you. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene temples of Kyoto, the friendly deer of Nara to the food paradise of Osaka - this journey is going to be unforgettable.

Everyone keeps asking what I'm packing for Japan in January! Here's my essential packing list:

**Tech:**
- Camera with extra batteries
- Portable WiFi (pocket WiFi reserved!)
- Universal adapter
- Power bank

**Winter Essentials:**
- Warm layers (it's cold in January!)
- Good walking shoes
- Compact umbrella

**Japan-Specific:**
- JR Pass (7 days)
- Cash (Japan is still quite cash-based)
- Phrase book
- Suica card for convenience
